We send our kids to the best public school around. let’s keep it that way.
We have chosen Carpenter because we want the best public school education for our kids. The Annual Giving campaign helps keep it that way!
Carpenter will lose its affiliated charter funding next year (2014-2015).
What that means is that under Governor Brown’s educational funding plan, Carpenter not only loses their Charter ‘block grant’ of over $200,000, but is essentially ineligible for the additional funding that will be granted schools with a higher amount and concentration of low income & English Language Learn- ers. And so, while we’re looking for other solutions that will allow Carpenter to qualify for incremental funding from LAUSD, we need this year’s Annual Giving Campaign to help bridge the anticipated gap as best as is possible.
You are the reason carpenter will continue to thrive.
You are the reason we will continue to have physical education, music, computer lab, science lab, dance, art, additional teacher’s to reduce class sizes as necessary, teacher, administrative & safety aides, credentialed teacher to downsize 4th/5th grades. You are the reason our campus is beautiful, our kinder area has seen improvements, and our classrooms have the technology they need. And this year, you will be the reason Carpenter continues to thrive even back in the LAUSD. Thank you.
The annual giving campaign is our single most important fundraiser.
We raise the majority of the PFC operating budget. The suggested donation is $800 per child; $1100 for 2+ children. However our goal is 100% participation, so any amount that works for your family, works for Carpenter.
donations are 100% tax deductible and some employers match!
Be sure to check with your employer. You may be able to double your donation!
we are all parents for carpenter. please give.
Please complete the enclosed form, mail it in, or drop it off in the front office, or donate online at www.carpentercharter.org. And thank you. Again and again.
