READ-A-THON

The 5th annual READ-A-THON is a great way to foster a love of reading - while raising money for Parents for Carpenter. You may pick a Read-a-thon packet in the Main Office or download the sheets below. All information is available online.

Register your child(ren) to participate in our fantastic new reading time tracking tool, www.CarpenterReads.com.

The online registration is easy! You’ll need an email address to create your account, your readers’ names and teachers’ names. All of your readers can be added in the same account. If you registered last year, you must register again this year with your child’s updated information.

Every child who logs Read-A-Thon minutes will receive a reading medal. The class with the highest percentage of Read-a-Thon participants and total number of minutes read will receive a special class party, so be sure to support your teacher!

Be sure to check our Facebook page for ideas on how to promote the Read-A-Thon - both with your children and donors!

SPONSOR YOUR READERS!

Support Carpenter's enrichment programs by sponsoring your readers by the pages or minutes they read or with a flat donation amount for the entire reading period. Ask friends and family to donate too (grandparents love to support and sponsor reading):
